I have produced 7 A0 laminated posters. The best way of getting really good profile for them is to have someone standing either at one of the televised fuel protests or outside a party political conference (I am handling the Lib Dem one).

I have the posters (4 will be with me when someone comes from London tomorrow and 3 are in London), but need some volunteers to take them and hold them at appropriate locations.

It is important to note that although it may not get coverage on the TV having posters near the media will have an effect on members of the media. It is not a job for standing around all day, but it is a job for about 1 hour in the appropriate location.

John -

well done you for your efforts on posters - I hope you had a happy time with them.

I know of nothing more effective than posters for reaching the public,
and for doing so in a manner whereby govt., media & industry reps can see that the public is learning about the issues.

I suggest we need to gather a kitty for their production and mounting costs,
plus maybe a prize (to the charity of the winner's choice ?) for the best of say 6 chosen designs.
Frugal use of colour would maybe be sensible to maximize yield per ? spent, and a max. A3 format eases printing costs.

I'll put up ?20 to this end if PowerSwitch would like to run with the idea.

Are there others who will match that amount, or is it a bit high? too low ?? to get many takers.

And how many could we get up say by Christmas ?

All ideas and views welcome !
