Do you think 'Max Oil' or 'Maximum Oil' is a term that people would help people grasp the concept more easily than 'Peak Oil'? |

I think so many people use the term PO now I don't think it is worth trying to use another.
The main thing to consider is if you are introducing the subject to someone and they decide to do some research themselves, then Peak Oil is the one they will need to use. |

No, I think Peak Oil is very descriptive to be honest. _________________ Real money is gold and silver |

Peak oil is a great term... we just have to use the word rate more. Whenever I'm talking/writing to non-peak aware people I stress rates more than anything else. _________________ PowerSwitch on Facebook | The Oil Drum | Twitter | Blog |

"Oil Depletion" seems to be a phrase I hear cropping up more and more. It doesn't have the fanatic air of 'peak oil' and makes the problem very apparent. |
