Yeah, that is rather sriking.

I like the white-black-style of the original drafts, I wonder what Bandidoz's text would look like in that style....

If Powerswitch is interested in having some t-shirts made up, I have a contact for getting 100% organic, non-sweatshop tees from Paraguay. I realise this may be objectionable as oil is used to fly them over here, though it might be worth considering the fact that they come in one small package on a plane that is making the journey anyway for a bunch of other packages.

It's an otherwise ethical soucre which may turn out to be cheaper than getting tees made here in the uk. Besides, for uk-made tees surely the cotton would be flown in from somewhere else anyway?

Maybe the Powerswitch logo and web address should be put on a t-shirt? Maybe there is a another (original) design someone has for a t-shirt? I think it needs to be fairly simple (ie not a photo) as the printers in Paraguay are pretty low-tech, at least if you don't want to pay lots more.

PM if you are interested.

If the money goes direct to some genuine, fair and decent small biz in paraguay that needs the money more than we do then I think it is probably worth spending a few carbon credits on the air-frieght.

PowerSwitchJames,

What happened with the advert? Did it go out? What was its final form?

Question

Putting the copy aside, I'd really discourage the use of a typewriter font like courier. They only existed because of technological limitations, so that means they're monospaced (all characters under a certain width, have huge serifs and no kerning), and just don't look professional. I'd recommend going with a simple sans serif like Futura, which has a great bold http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/efscangraphic/futura-sb/.

I would also argue for no justified text when there are 5 words for one of the lines.

I may sound picky (and I am), but I do know my type! If you want to get taken seriously then the image matters, even in reversed out type.
