Here's an idea...

I often find myself being asked (or feeling compelled) to give presentations covering the various issues surrounding Peak Oil...

I normally trawl the web for info and knock together a quick presentation; however this is not necessarily themed, and can be a little last minute.

How about a series of Powerswitch Powerpoints, that anyone can download and use, on an open content basis?

They can be themed to Powerswitch, thus allowing us to feel all 'corporate' and be taken as a serious concern.

So I propose the following Subjects:-

Subject - Input?

The Problem

Peak oil explained - Anyone, we all know this subject, I will start.
Uk energy situation - Mobbsey, Chris V ?

The Proof

The Hirsch/DoE report - Umm, I think we can adapt one from the web.
Olduvai Theory - Bandidoz?

Mitigation / preparation

Eco- living in practice - Ballard?
Domestic Low carbon tech - Ballard, Bozzio, Bandidoz?

Any other topics ?

I think we could keep these short and punchy, not too heavy on technical detail,

So waddaya think?

Ballard...watch this space!

We're working on a book at the moment (first draft finished in a few weeks we hope) from which a comprehensive powerpoint presentation will be available.

Come on, you haven't really missed all the talk about the book have you? Smile
