I've been asked to give a presentation of Peak Oil to the firm.
Do we have a complete, simple, UK biased PowerPoint presentation taking us through all the main issues in a step by step format that can be given in about 30 mins. (with lots of nice Graphs and references)?.
Or have I got to make one?
I've had a good look around and can't find one on the site or elsewhere

Thanks.

hmmm yeah. Looks like it isn't there any more and the powerswitch site has a custom error page that instead of simply returning a 404 error redirects you to the site homepage. Oh well.

Try Chapter 3 from "Energy Beyond Oil", or the first presentation from the "Fuelling the Future" DVD

Mathew Simmons is giving illustrated speeches on the subject every five minutes. He makes them available on his company'=s website.

You might find one of pdf presentations useful - they are designed to be projected in full screen slide show mode from adobe reader, but tend to be a bit specialist in approach

I also have a powerpoint presentation whose origins I have lost track of "_RunningOnEmptyNZ.ppt" which I can email to you if you PM me. Its a general survey of the subject which you are looking for, unfortunately not 'UK Biased' as its put together by a New Zealander.

I am working on 2 at the moment. The first is converting WolfAtTheDoor, the second is my own one. However, there is this one from Naresh at Living On The Cusp that will do the trick nicely. Stephen Watson's is also available.
I've fixed the link.

There are a number of powerpoint presentations with accompanying audio files from "Peak Oil UK: Entering the Age of Oil Depletion
25 April 2005, Edinburgh, Scotland"

I particularly recommend Chris Skrebowski's and Colin Campbells presentations.
