I discovered that the TV series "it's not easy being green" has a website set up and run by the people who actually did the project and live in the house. I also found that it has a very active forum, and that "Peak Oil" is only mentioned once in it so far.

So..... if anyone fancies getting in there to spread the word to the 600+ registered users who might be receptive, here's the address: http://www.itsnoteasybeinggreen.org/forum/index.php

p.s. Apologies for not going in there myself, but there's only so many forums I feel I can manage to keep up with...

If it's any help in your thinking, quite a few members of the Creative Living forum are on there as well, as I said before, this is another forum I use that is very aware of the idea and is taking steps although we don't really debate peak oil as such. Point is, you should get quite a positive reception I think.

I've set my wife loose on them and she's already made a post about peak oil - there was a discussion about the BBC programme the other week so a perfect place to start Smile
